Seven-year-old Devesh has been falling sick again and again, but his parents had no idea what was wrong. Living in a small village, they kept going from one doctor to another, hoping for answers. Finally, at Ganga Ram Hospital, their worst fear came true, Devesh has a serious heart condition, and urgent surgery is the only way to save him. The cost of the surgery doctors said will be Rs. 4,50,000/-
His father, Manoj, works as a daily-wage labourer on someone else’s land. His income is barely enough for two meals a day, and arranging such a huge amount for the surgery is impossible for him.
