Abdurrahman
Six year-old Abdurrhman is a sweet, curious and innocent child. But unlike other children his age, he has never heard the sound of his mother's voice, the laughter of his friends, or the melody of life around him.
Born with a hearing disability, Abdurrhman's world has always been silent.
He belongs to a very poor family, his father works as a peon, earning only Rs 7000 per month, which barely covers food, and basic needs. Despite knowing about his son's condition, he has been helpless, unable to afford the expensive treatment that could change his child's life.
Recently, a small ray of hope entered their lives when the family visited the ACME Clinic. After examination, doctors gave them good news, Abdurraham can hear through a simple medical procedure. The cost of this treatment is Rs 50,000 a small amount for many, but an impossible dream for a struggling father trying to feed his family.
ACME Clinic gave a reference of Diya India Foundation to poor parents for the support.
