Harichand
Every parent dreams of seeing their child smile, take their first step, and grow up healthy. But for Baby Harichand’s poor parent's life has been nothing but a cruel test.
Baby Harichand is just 5 months old — an age where life should be filled with giggles, lullabies and a mother's warm embrace. But instead, every breath he takes is a struggle. Born in a small village in Madhya Pradesh, Harichand suffers from a severe congenital heart defect — a hole in his heart.
From the day he was born, his parents noticed something was wrong — his breathing is heavy, and his tiny chest moving too fast. The local doctor confirmed the heart disease. but could not help due to the lack of facilities. They were told to take him to a better hospital.
So, Harichand parents took him to Jhansi, where, by a stroke of fate, doctors from Delhi were visiting for a health camp. After examining Harichand, they gave a painful verdict — “He needs urgent heart surgery for the survival and the cost of the surgery would be approx. Rs. 3,00,000/-
For his father, a farmer earning barely Rs. 7000/- a month, these words felt like a death sentence. The cost of the surgery was far beyond anything they could imagine. With tears in their eyes, they have turned to Diya India Foundation for support.
We cannot let Harichand's Little heart stop beating because of poverty.
Your support can give him a second chance at life. Every rupee you contribute will take him one step closer to breath freely, playing, and growing up like any other normal child.
Without your help, they will lose him forever.
Please, be the reason this little heart keeps beating.
