Diya India Foundation in association with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi celebrated 2nd Children’s Heart Day on 19th November 2017 at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
The programme started with lighting of lamp by Guest of HonorMs.Meshenka&Mr.JaydeepAnand, COO FIVE Holdings, Dubai, Padmashree Prof. Dr S.C. Manchanda, Chairman of Diya India Foundation & Dr Raja Joshi, Chairman, Dept. of Paediatric Cardiac Sciences, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
With the support of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, under its Project Udaan, Diya India Foundation is taking care of complete medical expenses of underprivileged children up to 14 years of age by providing financial support for the costly pre and post-surgical procedures.
The Programme started with the Parental Interaction with Paediatric Cardiac Sciences team that included scar management, psychological issues of children and their families related to such surgeries. The parents also discussed their concerns and worries with the surgeons and psychiatrist.
The afternoon was enlightened with dance performance by the students of ChetanVidyaMandir, a school supported by Diya India Foundation, and a magic show.
