Independence Day fever was seen all across the city and Umang, a school for special children was not far behind. Fifty autistic children in association with the team of Diya India foundation celebrated Independence Day at their school premises, the students sang songs and had fun-filled Independence Day. “We always try to bring them to the forefront with the attempt to build their confidence”.
Team Diya India shared the spirit of Independence Day by distributing a happiness kit included (Chips, Juice, Chocolate and cookies.) With the grateful smiles of the children, we found affirmation that even the smallest acts of kindness can ignite rays of hope in the darkest of places.
