HEALTH AND ITS ASPECTS
Usually when we talk about Health, we relate it to our physical health which is not the only aspect of health. A healthy person doesn't indicate a person with six packs but it refers to a person who's physically, emotionally, psychologically, and mentally healthy. It's a small term with a big meaning which we listen carefully but never follow religiously.
Living a healthy lifestyle not only makes us fit and happy but also makes us mindfully calmer.
We all are aware of sudden increase of the diseases and syndromes which were not so common in the past the decade. Our sedentary lifestyle makes it possible for the diseases to attack our immune system and helps these diseases to reside in our body for a comfortable period of time. I know we take our health for granted most of the time but remember there are billions and millions of cells, muscles and vessels in our body that are working perseveringly day and night, for whom?? For us.
Now that we have become a little sensitive towards our body cells and started respecting our body a little, let's begin to understand how can we help our immune system to become stronger and efficient. The first most important aspect of health is a balanced diet and exercise. I know I know we have heard this word "balanced diet" a lot of times and are quite bored with this word but till I find a new word let's adjust with it. So, eat three meals a day, that's nothing new but not everyone follows this tip and remember to keep your dinner meal lighter than the first two meals of the day. Second tip is that cut out your sugar and oil sources and lessen the amount of your salt intake (eating no salt food once or twice a week will do wonders;). Third tip is perform some physical activity daily and it's good if you perform 30 minutes of exercises daily. A 30 minute walk, yoga, dance, cardio will work fabulously for your body and will reward your body with extra energy too!!
Don't forget to include vegatables and fruits in your diet:) Sleep for 7 hours a day and drink 9 glasses of water everyaday that's just perfect and needs no further explanation!
One very very crucial tip that you must always keep in mind for excellent mental health : Be happy, Belive in yourself, Be in a good social company always, Be confident, Eliminate toxic people and Be grateful to the Supreme power. Meditation is a beautiful path to achieve happiness of body, mind and soul. "Pray daily. God is easier to talk than most people." Is a rightful saying, this can give us the much needed peace and clarity.
