Cleanliness is next to godliness. If we will keep our surroundings clean, we will have healthy surroundings. Clean India is a dream of many but how many of us work for it? We all need to work at the grassroots level to make our country clean and green. Shri Narendra Modi launched “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” on 2^nd October 2014  which aims to clean up the streets, roads, and infrastructure of India’s cities, towns, and rural areas. This mission has brought a colossal change but still, a lot needs to be done.

We need to start cleanliness drive from our own kitchen, our own toilet and our own surroundings then clean our streets and city. This is how we can make our dream come true of Clean India. Government alone cannot do anything. Every individual must act as a responsible citizen and do not litter anywhere.

Now, Green India is too the need of the hour like Clean India. Due to deforestation, there are floods, climate change, etc. More use of plastic and garbage in rivers thrown by locals has polluted our environment. There is an urgent need to plant more and more trees and adopt eco-friendly ways of life to preserve environmental beauty.

Therefore, to make India clean and green we all need to come together and make our India the cleanest country.
