Healthcare support to Underprivileged Communities

Every year, nearly 27% of deaths happen in India just because of lack of medical attention at the right time. This shows the existing disparity in the accessibility of basic health care facilities between the rich and the poor. The marginalised section of India is the victim of various health disorders, fundamentally due to lack of awareness, inaccessibility of treatments, unaffordability etc., thus restricting their growth and success severely.
Jeevan is an initiative by Diya India Foundation to tackle the issues of health among the disadvantaged groups of the society. It has an adept group of doctors who are well equipped with all medical facilities and also passionate towards working for the society. We identify communities who require utmost medical attention and offer services which help them improve their health status, be aware of possible health hazards and take preventive measures. Moreover, we also run a health and diagnostic centre, Man Mohini Kaul located in Nihal Vihar, New Delhi.
We have successfully served more than 10,000 people till now through:
  • Healthcare camps with free check-ups
  • Health awareness camps & drives through street plays and theatres
  • Yoga camps
  • Health counselling
