DISABILITY DAY !!!

As the world celebrates the International Day for People with Disabilities, on December 3, in India, accessibility and inclusion of the disabled remains a challenge.
On December3, 2016 we made efforts to make their day a bit special. Our ChetanVidyaMandir has admitted a handful of disabled children too. Children with disabilities are often regarded as inferior, and this exposes them to increased vulnerability. On this day, various activities were conducted for the challenged children in the ChetanVidyaMandir School. It was a small interactive session wherein the children had fun with their differently-abled friends.
Diya India Foundation believes that prejudice can be reduced through interaction, activities that bring together children with and without disabilities. The activities conducted by us aimed to provide recreation and enrichment to all.
